Name: Caleb Casey

Height/Weight: 6-foot-5, 200-pounds
High School: Burnsville
PBR MN Rank: #86 in MN 2017 Rankings

Evaluation:  6/20/16- 6-foot-4, 215-pound right-handed pitcher. Large projectable high waisted frame. Short balance point, slight uncontrolled delivery, but shows ability to repeat in zone. Shows life on fastball that rides into right-handed hitters. Fastball was 81-85 mph for strikes. Late bloomer, interesting follow in 2017 class, that has continued to improve. Higher ceiling prospect.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
CASEY: St. Cloud State, Wayne State, Upper Iowa, DMACC, Minnesota State and Academy of Arts in San Francisco.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
CASEY: I have visited Wayne State, St. Cloud, and Upper Iowa. I plan on visiting Academy of Arts, DMACC, and Mankato soon.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
CASEY: I want to stay more local so I can still be close to my family. I'm looking for a school that isn’t too expensive and still is really good academically.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
CASEY: Pitching a lot and getting a starting spot on our pitching staff was really cool. Going to state and winning 2 games was also a great accomplishment.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
CASEY: My current goal is to help get our team to state again and do some big things when we get there.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
CASEY: Last year I played basketball.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
CASEY: My GPA is a 3.3 and I scored a 20 on my ACT.
