PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
DREES: The schools that I have been most in contact with are Butler, Creighton, Illinois, Virginia Tech, San Francisco, Missouri, Miami (Ohio), Tulane, Cincinnati, SDSU and NDSU.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
DREES: I have visited Butler and Illinois and in the near future I am taking trips to Creighton, Missouri, and Virginia Tech. There are other schools that I’m interested in as well and hope to find time to visit.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
DREES: I’m looking for a school where I will have a solid relationship with my coaches and know that the program will do everything to help put me in a position for success. The feel of the baseball environment is most important to me but also academics will play a role in where I will end up. I want to go somewhere that challenges me academically and has a great business school.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
DREES: Our team had a fantastic year, going from a five-win season my sophomore year to an 18-win season this year. It was a surreal feeling to win our conference and section and then get a chance to play at Siebert Field for the State Tournament. Although we lost in the state semifinals, this past season will forever be one of my favorite baseball memories. Personally, I was awarded with All Conference, All Section, and All State Tournament Team.  I also had a great summer traveling the country and playing with an outstanding group of players and coaches’ Martin and Buske with the MASH.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
DREES: Our team goal is that we end up in the state tournament again, but get two more wins and a championship ring! I’m really pumped to see what this year holds for our entire team at BSM.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
DREES: Basketball.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
DREES: My GPA is 3.2 and I am taking the ACT in September.
