Scouting Report

8/18/19

6-foot-1, 180-pound left-handed hitting catcher.  7.15 runner.  Tall upright stance.  Leg lift trigger and hand load down.  Rhythm in load.  Athletic in box.  Uphill swing plane.  Gap to gap approach with line drive and fly ball contact.  Solid contact and flashes pull pop.  83 mph exit velocity.  C- Receives from one knee.  Well balanced.  Glove works low to high and show ability to hold pitches.  Moves well to block with athleticism.  Average exchange with longer footwork.  2.08-2.15 pop times.  77 mph arm strength with average accuracy and flashes good carry.  OF- Average glove and feet.  Fields ball clean.  Shorter arm action.  Good carry and accuracy on 84 mph arm strength. 

 

6/17/19

6-foot, 180-pound left-handed hitting catcher. #30 ranked prospect in MN 2020 class. 7.08 runner. Open stance, stays compact, gap to gap approach, shows line drive to fly ball pop to gaps, 83 mph exit velocity. Athletic frame behind plate, avg. receiver with stiffer glove, quick transfers to throw, 74 mph arm strength with 2.25-2.31 pop times.

 

3/09/19

6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting catcher with versatility. #26 ranked player in MN 2020 class. 6.97 runner. Athletic in box, aggressive swings, shows rhythm in load, mostly mid/pull approach, looks to elevate baseball, has pop in bat to both gaps, 76 mph exit velocity. Sure hands behind plate, avg. exchange, long release on throws effecting pop time, solid carry and accuracy to bag, 77 mph arm strength with 2.25-2.40 pop times.

 

3/17/18- 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.09 runner. Tall balanced stance, easy load and stride, repeats swing well, line drive path with lift through contact, consistent hard contact, gap to gap hitter, with flashes of pop in bat, 82 mph exit velocity. 83 mph arm from outfield with accuracy and carry to target, solid actions, above avg. glove, plays through ball and has momentum on throws.

 

3/18/17- 6-foot, 155-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. 7.39 runner. Athletic actions in box, uphill swing plane, shows solid bat speed and rhythm, gap to gap approach, 83 mph exit velocity. Aggressive fielder, works through baseball, clean arm action, solid carry and accuracy, fields on side of baseball occasionally, 77 mph arm strength from outfield.




 

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?

Milene: A few division 2 and 3 schools 

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?

Milene: I haven’t taken any visits but I’m planning on visiting iowa central soon  

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Milene: I’m looking for a school that will develop me not only as a baseball player but a person

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your sophomore year?

Milene: Hitting .450 with 10 doubles and 30 hits. Also winning the Big 9 

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 

Milene: To find a college so i can take my next step in life 

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Milene: No 

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

Milene: 3.6 GPA. 19 ACT
