2015 Spotlight: C Logan Geha (Lee's Summit West)

Logan Geha (Lee's Summit West) is a 5-foot-10 160-pound C/2B. Geha showed off his skills at the Prospects Identification Showcase in Manhattan, Kansas in October.  Geha has a balanced set-up with smooth load and a short stride.  He showed a short path to the ball and has a gap-to-gap approach, with an exit velocity at 84 mph. He showed an advanced skill set for a catcher, with a 1.98 pop-time at 75 mph.  His home-to-first time is 4.52.  

Geha is set to challenge for the starting catching role for Lee's Summit West this spring. He is currently ranked #33 in Missouri. Geha will be playing with Building Champions in the summer.  Here's what Geha has going on. 

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?

Geha: Kansas State, Arkansas, University of Central Missouri, and Central Arkansas.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future? If so, what schools, and how recently?
Geha: No official visits.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)

Geha: No specific requirements at this time.

PBR: What are you goals for your junior and senior seasons?
Geha: My goals for the upcoming two remaining high school seasons is to be all-state as a catcher, to bat over .400, and to lower my pop-time to where it is consistently under 2 seconds.

PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?
Geha: My travel team is Building Champions, summer and fall.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Geha:  I played football and basketball up until last year. I am now focusing on baseball 100% and no longer participating in any other sports.

PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?
Geah: I have not taken the ACT yet. My GPA is currently at 3.50.
