OUTLOOK
Valle Catholic is the reigning Missouri Class 2 state champions, and have played for the state championship in two of the last three years. Since 2011, the Warriors have been among the best baseball programs in the state, compiling a 102-19 record. Last season, Valle Catholic finished the season with 31 wins and there is no reason to believe they can't reach the 30-win mark this year.  The Warriors return six defensive starters and four pitchers from their state championship team a year ago.  Valle Catholic will led by several seniors, looking to repeat 2014 season. Connor Basler and Garrett Jaegers will be a pair of juniors to keep an eye on. Basler is a 7.1 runner with athletic actions at SS and a 79 mph exit velo.  Jaegers is a 6-foot 170 pound OF/3B, that will attending PBR's Winter ID Showcase on Feb. 21.  PBR will also be getting a look at freashman SS/RHP Christian Loida and sophomore RHP/C Cole Wood on Feb. 16.  Valle Catholic will open the season the #1 ranked team in Missouri Class 2, as they look to repeat as state champions.
