Season Outlook
The Rock Bridge Bruins have established themselves as one of the top programs in the state over the past several years. The Bruins have been ranked in the top 10 in each of the last seven years and enter this season as the #5 ranked team in Class 5. They should continue the success in 2016.  Their experience on the mound will be a big part of the Bruins success this spring, returning all but one starter from a season ago.  Carson England and Colin Bernskoetter a pair of seniors that have experience and can lead Rock Bridge to a deep playoff run in May. Drury commit, Avery Jennings will begin his third season as a starter and will be featured on the mound as well as 2B. Cole Evans, a Missouri commit, is drawing the attention of MLB scouts and could possibly be the top power bat in the state.  Rock Bridge also will use Evansville commit, Nick Wohlbold, on the mound as well as the infield and has significant varsity experience for a junior. Cameron Groll, will return in the outfield, while newcomers Jordan Smith and Brant Scrivner will fill in on the infield.  There is no doubt the 2016 edition of the Rock Bridge Bruins will be competitive and ready to reclaim the state title they won in 2014.
