Season Outlook
The Jefferson City Jays look take the next step in 2017.  After finishing as the Cass 5 Runner-up last season, the Jays enter this spring as the top ranked team in Missouri's biggest class. They will have the talent and experience to be able to finish what they started a year ago.  The Jays a pair of First Team All-Staters, LHP Jacob Weirich (Southern Miss) and SS Grant Wood (Murray State) that will give them a top of the rotation starter and defender in the middle infield with some pop at the plate.  Senior C Gaven Stroble (Central Missouri) and senior DH/UTL Kade Franks (Fort Hays State) were both named 2nd Team All State, while juniors Hayden Hirschvogel and Brandon Williams (Jefferson College) round out the balanced offensive attack.  The Jays also have a healthy corps of juniors ready to make their impact this spring.  Jefferson City has the returning talent and depth to make 2017 a special season.
