SEASON OUTLOOK
Mountain Grove will enter the 2017 season as the defending Class 3 champion finishing with a 25-5 record.  The Panthers will have five starters returning the field from last season, four of those players received post season honors.  A pair of seniors, C Treye Collins and 2B Brock Coffman were named All-State, while junior OF Hayden Newberry and senior 3B Austin Williams earned All-Conference honors.  Mountain Grove have three pitchers returning from 2016's team and will be looking for increased roles from those pitchers with experience. Also, look for junior OF Conner McNew to make an impact this spring as the Panthers try to repeat.  Coach McDownd, in his 8th season, will have Mountain Grove ready as they look to repeat the success they attained in 2016.
