Class 5

#1 Liberty North 10, Platte County 0
#1 Liberty North 8, Platte County 0
Brian Sharp and Cale Hansen each hit home runs in the 8-0 win over Platte County.  Tyler Funk went the distance to earn the win allowing no runs on four hits with six strikeouts.  In the 10-0 win, Liberty North got doubles from Brian Sharp, Colin Flanagan and Brady Kaplan and a five innings shut out win from Andrew Vogelbaugh.  Volgelbaugh fanned six and allowed just two hits. 

#4 Blue Springs South 9, #5 CBC 3
Ethan Frazier pitched four innings for Blue Springs South allowing just one earned run on four hits, and turned the mound over to Conner Davis who went three innings with four strikeouts and no earned runs on two hits.  The Jaguars collected 13 hits on the day, including a home run by Colton Pogue. Pogue was 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.

Francis Howell 13, #7 Timberland 8
Francis Howell’s Eli Dilday went 3-for-5 with a homerun, a pair of doubles, 4 RBI, and scored twice. Justin Perkins was 1-for-3 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Nic Perkins was 1-for-2 with a double, 2 walks, and 2 RBI. Brendan Trimble was 3-for-3 with a double, 3 RBI, and a run scored. Ryan Perkins was 1-for-3 with a walk, and 2 runs scored. Timberland’s Storme Cooper went 1-for-2 with a walk. Ian Nelson went 1-for-4 with a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Tanner Forck went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, and a run scored. CJ Schaeffer was 1-for-4 with a RBI, and a run scored.

Lee's Summit 9, #8 Kickapoo 1
Clint Jennings went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI and Ryan Laddish went six innings on the hill to pick up the win for Lee's Summit over Kickapoo.  Laddish scattered six hits and struck out five for the Tigers. Kaleb Schmidt took the loss, striking out six, allowing four earned runs on eight hits.  Schmidt went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.

Francis Howell 3, Fort Zumwalt South 2
Eli Dilday doubled home the winning run for Francis Howell. He ended up 2-for-4 on the day. Brendan Trimble went 3-for-4 with a triple, RBI, and 2 runs scored for the Vikings. Mason King scattered 5 hits over 5 1/3 innings, allowing 0 earned runs.

Fort Osage 8, Kearney 7
Zack Davis 3 doubles and 4 RBI.

Lebanon 11, West Plains
Brad Archer throws five scoreless innings striking out 9 in the win.  Austin Knight hits a home run and knocks in four runs for Lebanon.

Springfield Catholic’s Brayton Ballenger went 2-for 3 with a double, walk, and four runs scored. Keaton Presley went 1-for-3 with a walk, stolen base, and a run scored for Willard.

Caleb Edwards went 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base, 2 RBI, and a run scored for Fair Grove. The Eagles’ Ty Lumley went 1-for-2 with a walk, 2 RBI, and a run scored.
