PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it as expected? Easy/Difficult?

Logusch: Because I had an older brother go through the same recruiting process, I think I had the advantage of knowing exactly what to expect. When it came to talking to coaches, sending emails, and performing under pressure, I felt like I was well prepared to make the whole process as easy as possible.

PBR: Did location or distance from home play a factor in your decision?

Logusch: Location played a very big factor in my decision.  Playing for a midwest school where my friends and family can see me play is very important to me.

PBR: Where did Indiana first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
Logusch: Indiana got in contact with my summer coaches and has been following me all spring. I think I have formed a great relationship with the coaching staff over the last few months.

PBR: Who is the best player you have faced in your state, and why?

Logusch: The best player I’ve played against in Missouri is probably Luke Mann. The combination of his presence on the mound, his command of three solid pitches, and his ability to hit make him a fun guy to compete against.

PBR: What advice would you give to young baseball players striving to get where you are?
Logusch: I think that being patient is important in finding a school that fits you best. In the mean time, work hard and always look for things in your game to improve.

PBR: What do you do in the offseason to keep yourself in baseball shape and prepare for the upcoming season?

Logusch: In the off-season, I train with my summer team, the STL Gamers, as well as hit with Kevin Graham and Mike Tyson. I do my throwing program, lifting, and pitching training at P3 STL.

PBR: What is the most memorable moment in your baseball career to this point?

Logusch: I think that my first high school season last spring was been my favorite experience so far. Being on varsity as a freshman on a great team that won the Metro Catholic Conference was a lot of fun.

PBR: What do you like most about Indiana and what were the key factors in making your decision?

Logusch: I think that I really fell in love with the coaching staff and school as a whole. The location of Indiana combined with their facilities and history of success were the deciding factors for me.

PBR: What other schools were on your short list before you made your final decision?
Logusch: I was in contact with a number of schools, but I was very seriously considering Saint Louis University, Missouri State, and Indiana.

PBR: When did the recruiting process really start to heat up for you? Was there a particular game or event that you feel turned the corner for you?

Logusch: The process started last summer after my freshman year but really started to heat up this fall.  Attending the PBR Missouri Underclass Games was a turning point recruiting wise, and I was in contact with coaches all winter.

PBR: Tell us about your high school team?  How is the season going for you and your team?
Logusch: We have a very talented group of guys this year with great senior leadership. Our team is solid top to bottom and with the help of guys like Stephen Randazzo, JT Mabry, and Josh Abel I think we have a very good shot at competing deep into playoffs.

PBR: Where do you play in the summer? And what has been your most memorable experience with them?

Logusch: I play for the St. Louis Gamers 16u Blue in the summer. Coaches Matt Whiteside, Nick Aboussie, and  Nick Beckmann have been a huge part of my development these past few years. My most memorable moment was throwing a complete game shutout last July in a national tournament in Atlanta, Georgia
