Recruiting News Around Missouri

Two more Class of 2013 players have made their committments.

Joe Schrimpf (right) , a C from CBC, has committed to Arkansas State. Ranked No. 19 in the Class of 2013, Schrimpf hit .313 last season with twenty five hits, including seven doubles and one homerun. A very selective hitter at the plate, Schrimpf struck out only six times in eighty at bats this season.

The No. 29 ranked player in the Class of 2013, Danny Mannion (left) from Marquette has committed to St. Louis University. One of the top two way players in the class, Mannion led Marquette in batting average (.507) and slugging percentage (.786), and had eight doubles, two triples, two homeruns and fifteen RBIs. On the mound, Mannion went 4-1 with a 2.30 ERA.
