OUTLOOK:

The Wildcats can’t wait to get back on the field after a disappointing end to their 2013 campaign. Blue Springs lost 4 starting position players and 4 pitchers to graduation. They return 4 starting position players and 3 pitchers that had 15-innings or more in 2013. The returning KC Suburban Big 6 conference champions have their work cut out for them in 2014. The Wildcats will be led by a solid group of seniors including: Missouri State Commit Kyle Reed, Brett Barbeck, Brandon Benefeld, Jeremy Lufft, and Alex VanZandt. Coach Tim McElligot is expecting juniors Dillion Jackson and Zac Robinson to be major contributors also.  Excitement is growing for baseball season, as the weather starts to heat up.
