OUTLOOK:

The Chiefs had a disappointing loss at districts to finish their 2013 season. That bad taste has been left in their mouths for 9 months. They return 3 starting position players and 3 pitchers that had 15-innings or more in 2013. Kickapoo will be led by seniors Alex Kellogg and Jake Smith. Coach Howser also expects big production from juniors Danny Crews and Logan Wiley (Committed - Kansas State). Sophomore Kyle Giefer is an underclassman who could contribute this year. The Chiefs strengths will be pitching and defense. Kickapoo can’t wait to get back on the diamond this Spring and avenge their first round loss at districts in 2013.
