At the plate, open stance, holds hand high with smooth pre pitch rhythm, leg kick, aggressive swing, body stays controlled, mostly gap to gap line drives, power to pull side, hands work inside the ball, good barrel control.  On the infield, 79 mph positional velocity, short over the top arm slot, fluid footwork to the ball, clean transfer with aggressive footwork, mostly accurate throws.

6/13/17 - Whiteside is a 5-foot-10 155-pound left-handed hitting second baseman in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran 7.79 laser timed 60 and a 4.87 home to first.  He has a 78 mph exit velo. At the plate, open stance, leg kick with hand load, aggressive swing, mostly pull side contact during batting practice, does not get cheated with swing. On the infield, quick catch and throw, fluid actions to the ball, fields the ball in athletic position, soft hands, momentum before the catch, mostly accurate throws.  Singled to center three times during the game.
