Future Games: Team New Jersey Outfielders

TJ Hunt
Director, PBR New Jersey

The Future Games is drawing closer and we continue our preview of the players on Team New Jersey. Over 150+ schools in one spot.

The outfield group is led by a talented corps of 2020 players including Aidan Kane (Delbarton HS, NJ), Nick Senior (Bishop Eustace HS, NJ), RJ Moten (Delsea HS, NJ), and Bobby Baxter (Egg Harbor Township HS, NJ).

Right off the bat, scouts and coaches will be drooling over Aidan Kane and RJ Moten. Kane has an ultra-smooth left handed stroke and a tall, wiry-athletic frame at 6-foot-3 180-pounds. Kane peppers line drives into the gap with a slight uptick in his follow through.

Moten is by far the best athlete on Team New Jersey this year. A two-sport star at Delsea on the football team, Moten is also a dynamic wide receiver. A tall, wiry frame, Moten possesses both the speed and instincts on the basepaths as well as a line drive pop into the gaps.

I think coaches are going to be impressed with Bobby Baxter’s BP round and athleticism as well. Baxter has an athletic build with room to fill out at 5-foot-11 150-pounds. A left handed swinger, the ball jumps off his bat. Baxter is a triples machine, a 6.66 runner at the Garden State Underclass Games at Diamond Nation in June, Baxter will surely be a player to watch.

Nick Senior is going to have an impact on the Team NJ outfield as well. He’s versatile athlete and put together with broad shoulders at 5-foot-10 160-pounds. He can play the outfield with range and a strong arm – but he can also play all positions in the infield. Senior will be a scrapper for NJ – an over .400 hitter for one of the top offensive programs in the state for Bishop Eustace in 2018.
