#TeamNevada Commitment Tracker: Ty Southisene

This past summer saw the top players in our state joined together to create Team Nevada and represent our state against the top Uncommitted prospects from around the country at the Junior Future Games, Future Games and the inaugural West Coast Games. Players from this team were selected from standout performances at their High School Scout Days and Open Scout Days, as well as the Underclass and Upperclass Top Prospect Games. The Team Nevada prospects were able to showcase their "stuff" in front of the hundreds of collegiate scouts in attendance at each of the national event with helping the 15 prospects currently committed with many more expected to come in the next couple months.

Next, in our #TeamNevada Commitment Tracker feature we highlight Nevada's top ranked 2024, Ty Southisene, and his commitment to Tennessee.

Ty Southisene - Basic | tennessee

Southisene has already began the process of separating himself from the pack, not only in Nevada, but Nationally. He has routinely shown his premium tools on both sides of the ball with surprising, impressive power coming from his 5-foot-8, 155 pound frame, oozing confidence every time he takes the field while playing with bounce. Shortly after the completion of the 2021 Future Games, Southisene committed to the University of Tennessee, a program that checked off every box for him, but even now it may be hard to imagine him making it to campus with his professional aspirations that may be coming shortly after the conclusion of his senior year in 2024. Arguably one of the, if not the, top players in the state, regardless of class, the future Volunteer projects to only get better over the next few year as he takes his game all over the country, playing a national schedule with both his high school (Basic) and club program (USA Prime).
