Fort Plain (Section 2)
Record: 16-3
Road to Binghamton: Defeated Tuxedo (Section 9); 13-0 in 5 innings.

Semifinal Matchup: vs. Madrid-Waddington (Section 10)
Prediction: Section 2 teams are generally battle tested, we're taking Fort Plain which is no stranger to the big stage.
Madrid-Waddington (Section 6)
Record: 12-1
Road to Binghamton: Defeated Lake Placid (Section 7); 11-1
Key Contributors: Shane Tiernan
Semifinal Matchup: vs. Fort Plain
Prediction: M-W puts up a fight with RHP Shane Tiernan on the mound but goes down in a close one.
Deposit/Hancock (Section 4)
Record: 21-2
Road to Binghamton: Defeated Oriskany (Section 3); 8-4
Key Contributors: Owen Wormuth, Darren Shaver, Luke Resti
Semifinal Matchup: vs. Brocton (Section 6)
Prediction: Deposit/Hancock's experience and hunger propels them to the final.
Brocton (Section 6)
Record: 17-2
Road to Binghamton: Defeated Avoca (Section 5); 5-1
Key Contributors: Ronald Brown, Hunter Rizzo
Semifinal Matchup: vs. Deposit/Hancock
Prediction: It will be close early but D-H can wear you down. A nice run for Brocton.
Our Thoughts
" The Fort Plain vs. Madrid-Waddington semifinal may be a battle that will burn up some arms. Whoever comes out on top may not have enough in the tank to take down Deposit-Hancock. If Deposit- Hancock draws Madrid in the final we lean towards D-H. In the end this shakes out to Fort Plain powering their way to another state title."
