Jake Zurat (2017/Williamsville North) connected on the game-winner, and Mitchell Rosati (2017/Canisius) made it stick as Niagara rallied for a 4-2 victory over Hudson Valley in 2016 New York State Games action from McDonough Park in Geneva, New York.
Zurat plated Rosati with a one-out double to in the right-center gap. Zurat eventually scored on an error.
Rosati tossed two scoreless innings of relief for the win. The right-hander sat 79, but his slider at 68 left opposing batters frozen. Rosati went to his off-speed stuff in any count and struck out the side in the seventh.
