Average build with compact quick mechanics. 1st inning - 3rd innings fastball sat 85-88 with some late action, dropping 81-83 after. Curveball has 10/4 shape with feel for spin and FB handspeed.
John Young, OF, Walter Panas, 2018
Athletic leadoff hitter for the Taconic Rangers; pounded a ball to the right center gap. Balanced approach with gap potential. Utilized his 6.91 60 speed to move on a few balls in the dirt and made a tremendous throw in the OF. A sure spot in the 2018 rankings is on the way for Young.
Eric Volpi, 3B, Kennedy Catholic, 2018 (James Madison Commit)
Large frame corner infielder who showed improved range and showed carry on some deep ground balls. Moved to SS late and played the part. Little uncomfortable at the plate with a steady diet of off-speed but has big time pop as evidenced from past events.
Zach Selinger, 2B/3B, Kennedy Catholic, 2018 (Fordham)
Above average bat speed; open setup and stays through contact. Run producer approach; comfortable at 2B and 3B.
Stephen Fisher, C, John-Jay Cross River
Steady receiver, good in the dirt. Average but accurate arm. Couple of loud outs with a quiet approach.
Niko Droukas, OF, Brookfield, 2017 (Uncommitted)
Lean/athletic frame; LHH showed an easy stroke to all fields. Average and gap potential; CF-LF projection. Still available.
Dylan Crowley, LHP, Hamburg, 2019
Lean build LHP who sat 77-79 MPH, touching 80 MPH a few times. Breaking ball had 10-4 shape. As command improves he should a guy that frustrates lineups. Around the zone but will need to spot more consistently. Positive upside.
Thomas Peltier, LHP, Niagara-Wheatfield, 2019
Wiry/lean frame from a ¾ arm slot. Sat 75-78, touching 79 MPH. Breaking ball with sweeping action at 64 MPH. Feels change at 71 MPH. Similar mechanics and build to his Full Circuit 2019 teammate Dylan Crowley.
Ryan Burns, SS, Williamsville South, 2017
Wiry build, lean with loose actions up the middle. Made very difficult plays with ease, quick hands, active lower half, above average defender. Offensively pushed a bunt in the 5th inning down first base, was 4.31 home-to-first time, above average athlete.
Anthony DeMaria, RHP, Williamsville North, 2018
Broad shoulders, thick lower half, arm action is long and back towards the 2B. Fastball sits 74-77 MPH with some arm-side run, feel for the strike zone. Curveball is loose with gradual shape.
Mitchell Binda, OF, Williamsville South, 2017
Above average defender in CF with range. Pushed a bunt from left-side down 3rd base side with a 4.32 home-to-first time. Athletic frame.

Lanky build with average arm behind the plate. Had an RBI in the 4th inning on Day 2 showing loose hands with compact swing.
Duncan MacDonald, OF, Amherst HS, 2018
Lean athletic frame with an above average defensive skill set. Playing RF he went back on a ball to the right-center gap making a great running catch.
Estaban DeLos Santos, RHP, Walton HS, 2018
Lean athletic build, long legs, clean simple mechanics, ¾ slot with fastball sitting 77-80 MPH, some arm-side run. Also showing 63-66 10/4 shape curveball, 71-73 slider/cutter. Quick footwork on mound, two pick offs in first three innings. Poised approach.
Rafeal Figuereo, 2B/SS, John Jay HS, 2018
Rangy, wiry middle infielder at 5-foot-11 165 pounds. Good looking all around athlete. Slightly open, relaxed setup; quick middle in. Battles in the Box. Played both SS and 2B; good range, can make the plays on the move.
Thomas Carpenter, C/1B/3B, Westlake, 2019
Athletic/muscular build at 5-foot-11 183 pounds; balanced setup at the plate with simple timing. Battled Torres, squaring up a 91 MPH FB through the middle (deflected to the 2B) to drive in a run.
Anthony Simeone, INF/RHP, Mahopac, 2018
Slight build with athleticism. 2-run single early in game. Sat 77-79 (80 MPH peak) from a low ¾ slot; down in the zone with some lateral action to the slider; clean arm.
Mike Siano, 1B, Queensbury HS, 2018
Lefty with consistent hard contact. Full body build with above average bat-speed / hand-eye-coordination. Had a quality AB in game three at SUNY Cortland, took a 3-1 CB deep to the right center gap one hopping the fence for a stand-up double. This is what Siano does every time we see him in game situations, just hits.
Jordan Peltier, OF, Shaker HS, 2018
Athletic smaller build, compact swing from the right-side, squared up a ball to center in the lead-off position, one hopped left-field fence in final game at SUNY Cortland showing some power to pull side. Runs well with high end range in the OF.
Justin Jenneve, SS, St. Joseph Collegiate, 2018
Athletic build; arm shows left side carry, hands work fast/clean, lower half needs to improve speed.. Simple, compact stroke at the plate with balance.
Erik Johnson, LHP, McQuaid Jesuit, 2018
Long, lean projectable frame from a low ¾ slot. Sat 75-78 MPH; sweeping L-to-R breaking ball at 62-64. Flashed a change at 68 MPH that held it’s plain with good arm speed.
Domenic Schmidt, LHP, Kenmore West, 2019
Compact/athletic frame. Sat 79-81 MPH with some depth to breaking ball (67-69). Composure; stays around the plate and add/subtracts off his fastball well.
Ty Syta, C, St. Francis, 2018
Muscular/full bodied backstop, wide open setup with an above average throwing arm. Swings from the left-side with signs of power, hit a long HR foul in game at SUNY Cortland to his pull side.
Mike Sabatine, OF, Fairport, 2018
Athletic, quick twitch who ran an impressive 60-yard dash at the NYS games less than a week ago. During game at SUNY Cortland he squared up a base hit up the middle showing a compact path to the ball with some bat-speed projection.
Trey Brown, 2B, Aquinas HS, 2018
Short compact build with a full-time motor. Plays the game hard, shows a clean slick glove, serviceable arm from the right-side. At the plate barrels up balls in the zone consistently, path to the ball is short and level, shows above average speed on the bases.

Shorter build, lean. Defensively very active lower half with slick actions with glove. Loose whippy arm from several angles. Contact hitter from the right-side. Best defender in tourney.

Full bodied RHP, low ¾-arm slot, fastball sitting 76-78 with lateral movement. Sweeping slider 9/4 shape.
Josh Bennett, OF, Shaker HS, 2018
Solidly built frame. In final game at SUNY Cortland he crushed an inside fastball off the left center-gap fence showing above average bat-speed, defensively average arm with some athleticism.
Steven Colon, RHP, James Monroe HS, 2018
5-foot-9, 170-pounds who works from quick compact delivery. Fastball in the first inning sits 81-84 form a loose clean arm-action. Curveball shows depth at 68-69 11/5 shape. Settled in and started to show better command and feel for breaker. Steady defender at 3B, glove side range.
Mike Sculli, LHP, Canandaigua HS, 2019
Wiry build, sound mechanics, fastball sitting 78, topping 81 from an athletic ¾ slot. Curveball has been effective as a strike and a put away pitch, late depth, 67-70 mph 2/7 shape. Projectable frame with more in the tank.
Tyler Griggs, 3B, McQuaid Jesuit, 2019
Open set up with a slight crouch; stays inside contact with zone acceleration. Barrel finds the ball. Solid defender; above average glove with throws showing easy carry. 4.25 home-to-1B; No panic type player with high baseball IQ.

Compact delivery, fastball sits 75-77, touching 78 once from a high-¾ slot. Goes to curveball often sitting 67-69 with feel for spin, 12/6 depth.

Projectable size on the mound, 6-foot-2 220-pounds, fastball sitting through 2 innings of work 77-79 with command, curveball 10/4 sweep, at times loose shape.
JT Lopez, RHP, Shaker HS, 2018
5-foot-9, 170-pounds. Uses a compact delivery, drops and drives off back leg, clean quick arm-action with fastball sitting 81-83, touching 84. 73-76 changeup that stays on one plane. Ability to expand his fastball when ahead to get chase swings out of the zone.

Compact build at 5-foot-9 162 pounds; controlled delivery from a high ¾ arm slot. Sat 75-78 early on before dropping; good command. Breaking ball 12-6 with early action. Contact approach at the plate.

Athletic 5-foot-7 150 pound sparkplug. LHH with an open setup and middle of the field approach. High average potential at the next level.

Physical 6-foot-1 frame who put some loud swings on the ball; showed adequate arm and range at the hot corner for the Southern Tier Sluggers.

Physical, athletic frame at 6-foot-2 185 pounds. Projects more as 3B or corner OF at next level. Steady arm, drives the gaps and runs well.
Holden Lazurus, OF/RHP, Ithaca, 2020
Impressive 2020 grad with an athletic 5-foot-11 173 pound frame who was up to 83 MPH on the mound. Hit in the 3 hole for the RBI Raptors. Complete all-around player who immediately got bumped into the 2020 rankings.
Anthony Brown, SS, Schenectady, 2018
Smooth defender with a strong arm that can cover a lot of range. Has a quick bat with gap to gap pop. Threat to steal on bases. Played well both offensively and defensively for the Schenectady Cyclones.
Zach Malex, RHP/INF, Schenectady, 2018
Efficient strike thrower with decent mechanics. Sits 77-79, can touch 81. Throws 12/6 curve and can spot his circle change for a strike. Excellent pick off mechanics - picked 3 runners off 1st in his start. Can swing the bat and showed a good eye of the strike zone.
Dominic Germano, DH/Corner INF, Kenmore East
Hit well in key situations for Lou Gehrig Legends during tournament. Has a good eye and potential power candidate showing gap to gap pop. Was 2-3 with a 2B, BB and 4 RBI during their opening tournament game.
Hudson Beckmier, LHP, Diamond Pro
Beckmier pitched a complete game win starting with retiring 16 straight batters. Gave up first BB in sixth inning and carried no hitter into 7th. Ended with only allowing 2 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 5 in complete game win. Effective running fastball with ability to change speeds and throw change up for a strike. FB is 78/79 with good arm side run.
Ray Specht, SS, Rush-Henrietta, 2018
Solid defensively with good range left/right and moves well forward on the run or back for in-between pop ups. Strong arm that can throw across diamond on a line from deep short. Showed a good bat hitting solid line drives on tough pitches with a good eye at the plate not chasing balls outside the zone.
Jonathan White, RHP/3B, Clarence, 2019
White displayed efficient at bats showing good sight of the strike zone. Hit the ball with authority into the gaps in critical situations with runners in scoring position. Runs well and is a smart baserunner taking extra bases when chance exists.
Dominic Dirado, LHP, Vestal, 2018
Big bodied arm with a lot of potential. Fastball sat 80/81 and touched 84mph. Showed an effective changeup that got outs along with a late action breaking ball. Mechanics need to be fine tuned to be more consistent in the zone, but has a high ceiling. Struck out 10 batters in 4 innings of work in their opening game of the tournament.
Tommy Baxter, SS, Webster Schroeder, 2018
Scrappy player that hustles everywhere. Good range at short with a strong arm across the diamond. Smooth turning the double play up the middle. Offensively has a good eye of the zone and doesn't chase much outside. Fluid swing with ability to drive the ball the other way. Runs the bases well and is a threat to steal.
Kyle Taborne, RHP, Vestal, 2019
Consistent in the strike zone with efficient mechanics. Fastball has good arm side run and sits 78/79 and touched 82mph. Good secondary pitches to keep hitters off balance. Very competitive on the mound and not afraid to go inside, or to challenge hitters in any count.
Ryan Peterson, LHP, Nichols, 2018
Effective command of strike zone with plus secondary pitches. Good run on fastball. Sat 76/77 and touched 79 with fastball. Key was secondary pitches where he could throw at any count keeping hitters off balance and guessing. Had a good start in second game of tournament striking out 8 in 4 innings of work just allowing 2 hits and a walk.
