Welcome back to PBR New York’s Headed North – where we select members to discuss, highlight, and point out what is to be seen this coming spring and summer at the ballpark. In our last piece we looked at three rising catchers in Jack Arnold (Canisius), Kyle Vachon (Glens Falls) and Connor Fitzsimmons (Pittsford Sutherland) to keep an eye on behind the plate come April. Today, we look at three young sophomores that have an eye opening skill set at the hot corner as they continue to prepare for the start of the 2017 season. Third basemen Tyler Griggs (McQuaid), Pierce Hendershot (Tioga) and Andrew Fairbrother (Williamsville North) all have tools to key on for their respected spring and summer seasons and showcased them last week at the PBR New York State Preseason All-State Showcase in Syracuse, NY...
