New York Insider: Updated and Expanded 2016 Rankings

Dan Cevette
Director, New York

Taking into consideration the late summer, fall season, and many regional and national events scouted over the last couple of months, we have updated the New York 2016 rankings once again. This crop of seniors features plenty of high-end national talent along with impressive overall depth.

Over the course of the last three-plus months, the depth has continued to strengthen. Since our last update of the rankings, one Unsigned Senior Event have taken place and brought several new faces and names to the table.

The one constant to the 2016 New York Rankings has been RHP Ian Anderson (Shenendehowa) at the top. Anderson a Vanderbilt recruit, established himself as New York's top pitching prospect this spring/summer while creating national buzz in several tournaments and with Team USA. In our 2016 overall rankings (PBR coverage areas) he finds himself at No. 3 and national supervisor Nathan Rode see's him as the No. 5 high school draft prospect in the country - pretty impressive.

Coming in closely behind Anderson is No. 2 current SS Daniel Bakst (Poly Prep Country Day) a Stanford commit.
