Scouting Report   

Stands at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, with an athletic body build.  Defensively- He has a smooth approach through the ball, with average high school hands, throws with a high 3/4 arm slot, plays through the ball nicely.Would be a nice fit at either corner  Offensively- At the plate his setup is relaxed and very balanced, no stride, with a nice back load.  He has a short path to the ball, swinging on a somewhat upper tilt, and has high finish with nice extension through the ball.  Exit velocity peaked at 86 MPH. Pitching- Showed an ability to routinely throw downhill out of his strong 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. Fastball sat 81-83 MPH, touching 85 MPH, while he also incorporated a change-up at 69-72 and a curveball at 64-65.

What to Expect

"Williams has that frame to dream on at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Had an impressive outing at the PBR-PA Travel Games this summer and has showed well at prior PBR-NY events. Gut feeling is that he'll be a potential dual candidate at the next level but with a good effort on the mound his weekend (has been 81-83, popping an 85 MPH FB with a commanded breaking ball)  he may attract some higher level attention and also a climb in our rankings."
