SCOUTING REPORT
Marshall stands from a highly projectable lean pitchers frame at 6-foot-5, 175-pounds with a frame needing more muscle mass. Pitching-  Slightly choppy tempo to his delivery, would benefit from a more fluid smooth action, one allowing mechanics to be repeatable. He uses a long arm-swing, clean and quick releasing from a high 3/4 slot, fastball sits anywhere from 81-83 MPH currently, but bet the farm on the velocity climbing as it did from his last event. Worked in a slider with some lateral bite at 71-74 MPH. Uses a long stride with proper direction, upright finish, change-up has fade but a bit firm at 76-78 MPH. Still very raw, but a player on the rise in the 2019 rankings.

WHAT DID WE SEE?
"Marshall obviously has the downward angle to work his fastball at 6-foot-5. Often at that size many pitchers struggle to repeat their mechanics but he has shown no issues doing so. His recently added velocity, coming from an extended reach to the plate and sight line that not many high school hitters are familiar with, will create issues for the opposition come spring time."
