Top Returners:
Tyler Hoffman, 1B/RHP, 2014
Hoffman had four wins on the mound last year and holds a power bat in the lineup. He is committed to Barton (NC) College.

Sean Egan, SS, 2014
The team captain, Egan batted .345 with three home runs and 12 stolen bases. He is committed to Fairfield (CT) University.

Nick Gavin, RHP/DH, 2014
Gavin can pitch in the mid 80s and had 51 strikeouts in only 45 innings pitched last season. He could anchor the staff. Gavin is committed to Franklin Pierce (NH).

Ben Cassillo, C/OF, 2014
Cassillo returns as Shaker's top hitter, batting .423 with 26 runs scored last year. He is also a tremendous student who is reportedly deciding between Duke and Stanford to continue his education.

Garrett Klahr, RF, 2015
Klahr batted .335 as a sophomore and is a player to watch. He has a good arm and was an all-league honorable mention.

2014 Outlook:
Shaker HS has five returners in their lineup, and three pitchers from their championship run. Coach Frank’s seniors will have to fill some vacant holes, but expect two up-and-coming stars in Nick Demarco (RHP/SS) and Dom Demarco (UT) to make an impact.

“We have expectations that we will compete each day, and give ourselves a chance to win a championship," Frank said. "It will be difficult given the strength of our league, but we are experienced, confident, and excited to get after the challenge."
