December 17, 2017
The ENY All-Star Games (Sept. 2017) took place at Marist College. On display were over 60 high-end prospects showing off their skill-sets in front of our PBR NY scouting staff and finally the smoke as cleared. We are fast-at-work piecing together all the scouting data we collected. Today we highlight a player who's performance earned an extra look.

top performer Report
ENY All-Star Games (July 18, 2017) Cole stands 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with a well proportioned body build. On the mound there is reason to be excited. Although currently measurable stats are just slightly above average, there's signs of bigger and better things to come. He uses a simple, well paced tempo to his delivery, sound mechanics with a clean easy arm-action. Releases from a high-3/4 slot with run to his arm-side on a fastball sitting 78-81 mph. Shows the ability to spin a breaking ball with 11/5 shape in the upper 60's. Change-up has some downhill depth with fade. Seems composed and confident the two times we have seen him throw. Would like to see him lengthen his stride and create a straighter, more stretched out drive leg, currently it almost touches the ground eliminating full-power. With some hard-work and adjustments, Hedden could really turn some heads this spring. He also swings with loose hands, mostly level bat-plane from a compact stroke. 79 mph exit velocity.
