CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT
CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Yost impressed our scouting staff back in mid October at the Big Apple preview. His physical appearance has changed since the summer, now showing off a stronger, thicker lower half. At the plate the path is fluid, hands are strong, and he gets some barrel lift through contact. Projects as a 3B at the next level with clean glove work, and an above average arm across the diamond.. From the mound, Oct. 14 marked his best arm-strength at 85 mph. His arm swing is clean from a high 3/4 slot, the curveball has consistent shape, and his overall durability looks impressive. Excited to watch Yost continue to grow on the baseball field.
