Top Performer Spotlight: 2022 LHP Evan Chaffee (Hamburg HS)

Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Chaffee is a player we first saw scouting a travel tournament in up-state NY in early June. He impressed our scouts so much that we added him to a "watch list" for the NYS Games later that month. An injury later and we added the long, lean projectable lefty to the NYS Games. He's 79-83 with minimal effort, loose easy arm-swing that repeats with plenty of front-side extension, above average handspeed. With an emphasis on strength training and continued development, Chaffee has a chance to be special. He hails from the greater Buffalo, NY area.
