Top PErformer Report

Michael Mack is a 6-foot-1, 175lb RHP from Saratoga Springs and Mack has en electric FB that sets him apart from the rest. The number 7 ranked RHP in the '24 class has one of the quickest arms in his class. Mack is long and wiry with a high release in his delivery. Mack plates 3 pitches for strikes highlighted by a SL that has slurvish velocity and movement. Mack also throws a CH that he is able to kill the spin on enough to have it get the downward bite that is so valuable to a swing and miss CH. Back to the fastball though, Mack has a slightly tilted release on the ball giving it heavy arm side run down and in to a RHH. With such a long, lean frame, there is a lot to like about Mack considering how quick his arm moves downhill. Mack will be a big get to whatever program he sees fit to make his home at the next level. There is incredible repetition and simplicity to the mechanics which pushes the case for Mack to be a starter at the next level as well. With the fastball routinely exceeding 86 MPH and topping out at 88 MPH, Mack has the chance to be a high velo RHP with feel for three pitches.
