Physical: 6-foot-0, 200-pounds. Strong, physical frame. 7.57 runner in the 60; 4.78 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, slightly open stance with some bend in the knees, hands start just above shoulders and work back on load, uses a toe tap and a small stride for timing Generates some loft with an uphill swing plane, finishes high with one hand. Lots of hard contact up the middle and to pull side. 89 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Gets low and fields the ball slightly off center in the middle of his body, gets rid of the ball quickly. Long arm swing with a high 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 78 MPH.

 

 

Evan has an athletic physical frame standing at 6-foot-0, 200 pounds. Starts in a traditional opened stance with a narrow base and high hand placement. Swings out of a low leg kick load; effectively getting weight into his back knee. Evan maximizes his lower half in his swing and stays through the hitting zone. Evan shows above average pop for his age and creates backspin on the ball from his extension through his swing. Recorded an 86 mph exit velocity. Evan shows the athletic ability to grow as a hitter; he will be fun to watch as an upperclassman. Really smooth defensive player. Evan covers the bag and is athletic with his footwork around the bag. This big body underclassman possesses good footwork and rhythm in his approach to the ground ball. His glove works well out in front and has good arm strength for a 1B recording a 74mph across the diamond.
