Scouting Report
(Preseason All-State - Feb. 2015) Castillo stands 6-foot-2, 207-pounds and has great size with a very projectable frame. Castillo shows an exit velocity of 91 mph and it definitely translates to the field. The rising sophomore has 'grown-man' strength/pop off the bat screaming deep-fly projection. His bat is high-level, easy athletic swing, bat drops some on the pitch, extension through the ball. He ran a 6.61 (PBR NY record) 60 yard dash - extremely athletic player oozing high-level ability. At SS to gets behind the ball, open glove face, fields out in front, quick transfer to an over-the-top throw.

+ Castillo has recently made the move from infield to the OF this summer - A move that has really elevated his game utilizing his raw athleticism and size. He already has next-level size standing 6-foot-2, and just over 200-pounds with tremendous foot-speed. This summer Castillo was a member of both East Coast Pro and Area Code Games - two national events that provide extreme exposure at the national level. We are excited to see him this Thursday at Houghton college for our WNY All-Star Games.
