TOP PLAYERS:

Andy Weber, 2B, 2015 ... Hit .337 with 26 RBI and 5 doubles as a sophomore. Will hit 3-hole in 2014. Committed to Virginia.
Matt Carpenter, SS, 2015 ... Was a .325 hitter with 17 RBI in 2013.
Kirk Janoch, CF/RHP, 2014 ... Had a batting average of .358 with 20 RBI, 4 triples, 3 doubles and 19 steals last season. Also considered the ace of the pitching staff.
Nick Ely, 3B, 2015 ... .388 batting average with 15 RBI and 7 doubles as a sophomore.
Carter Semancik, RHP/1B, 2015 ... Played junior varsity in 2013. Hard throwing righty who will start at first when not pitching.
Michael Durkin, C, 2016 ... Did not appear on varsity in 2013. Has a solid arm and is good behind the plate.

OUTLOOK:

This Aurora team had a great run making it to the state Final Four. They set over 25 school records in 2013. Though they lost some contributors, Aurora returns juniors who were great as sophomores and are considered the core guys. Aurora had an incredible 2013 and could be poised for another run in 2014. With the amount of talent in the junior class it could be an exciting next two years for Aurora.
