From Surgery To Cincinnati For Richardson

DAYTON - Less than nine months after Tommy John Surgery, Glen Richardson has found a home.

The Sinclair Community College sophomore has committed to play baseball at the University of Cincinnati.

“I reached out to them last fall,” explained the 6-1 1905-pound right-hander, who on Tuesday threw his first 100 percent bullpen session since surgery last Aug. 4. “I knew (Cincinnati assistant coach) JD (Heilmann) from my sophomore year in high school when I played for him in Jupiter. We kept talking as my bullpens got harder and harder and I made a visit on April 28.”
