The Buckeye State is filled with high-level baseball prospects throughout each corner of the state. The 2018 class has commitments all across the United States, from Vanderbilt to Miami to Kentucky to Missouri to Nebraska and many more colleges across the U.S. When looking at the 2018 rankings, you will see plenty of Ohio colleges littered throughout all of the commitments as well.
The 2019, 2020 and 2021 classes are loaded and primed to make some big-time commitments to colleges all across the nation over the next few years. PBR Ohio is committed to bringing insightful information on big-time commitments as well as providing a spotlight on the top uncommitted prospects.

MASSILLON - “As soon as I walked on the campus I fell in love.” The Thursday visit to Ohio State turned into a college commitment a day later for Trent Jones. “Ohio State is the school I’ve always wanted to go to since I was little,” related the Jackson sophomore. “My family are die-hard Ohio State fans.” The decision by Jones came after previously taking a visit to Wright State. “I checked out the campus,” Jones reflected. “The coaches there were great guys that I so much respect. They gave me a great offer.” But becoming a Buckeye was too much to pass up for Jones, who had also been in contact with Dayton and Kent State during a recruiting process that progressed quickly after strong performances at the Northern Ohio Prospect Games and The Buckeye Elite Tournament last year. |
