Last February, Licking Valley senior right-handed pitcher Craig Prince was one of the standout performers at the Pre-Season Underclass Showcase in Cincinnati and he recently improved upon that showing at the Unsigned Senior Games in August.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound righty posses a solid frame. He showed command of an 82-84 mph fastball complemented by a 69-70 mph breaking ball and a 77-78 mph changeup.

Recently, he narrowed his list to three schools: Mount Union, Otterbein, and Heidelberg.

"Mount Union has amazing facilities and they really seem to compete every year and they are continually getting better. I really like the coaching staff they are guys that I could see pushing myself to be my best," he explained.

Prince continued, "Otterbein is a nice school all around. I've been in contact with there coaching staff and I'm very excited to meet them."

Lastly, he said, "Heidelberg looks like a great fit also because it looks exactly like my home town. I could see myself there also."

So far, Prince has only taken a visit to Mount Union, but he plans on visiting Otterbein and Heidelberg in the near future.

Does he have a leader?

He explained, "At the moment, it's Mount Union."
