We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2017 Team Showcase at Wittenberg. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2018-2022 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as a recap of the weekend for Canes Baseball.

Ohio Insider: Wittenberg Weekend Recap - Canes Baseball

The Canes went 2-1 on the weekend, bolstering a roster much younger than the teams they were facing. This group really came along as they weekend went on.

In game one their youth showed a bit as defensive/base running miscues led to their defeat a more refined NC Elite team. In game two is where they really started mature. They raced out to a 10-1 lead before the Cincy Prospects came all the way back to tie the game at 10-10. The game easily could have gotten away from the Canes but they answered back with three late runs to get the 13-10 victory. In their final contest they played a back and forth battle against CBC. Playing their cleanest game of the weekend, the Canes came out on top.
