Ohio Players Make An Impression At Super 60

best players in the country at the 17th annual Prep Baseball Report Super 60 on Sunday.

Outfielders Jase Bowen of Toledo Central Catholic and Jack Frank of Strongsville along with pitchers Cameron Burford of Western Reserve Academy and Christian Lothes of Lakewood Hebron were among the 67 top prospects in the country performing in front of more than 100 pro scouts from major league organizations.

“It was by far the best event that I have went to and was an experience that I will never forget,” explained Lothes, a 6-2 207-pound Charlotte commit. “It was a completely different stage of my career that I’m glad I got a chance to be in.”

Burford (Video Below) was listed as a potential breakout candidate prior to the Super 60.

“Overall I thought that the event was a great experience,” the 6-5 190-pound Dayton recruit said. “Traveling to Chicago and competing against some of the best was definitely a great way to spend the weekend. It was easy to talk to the other players and get their opinions on things as well as become friends with them for the time being.

“Getting to compete and see where I stacked up against other players was also interesting. You always hear big names within your state and it seems that you almost always know who is ahead of you in terms of ranking. However, it was great to meet kids from different places throughout the country and see their take on their current situation and where they want to be in the future.
