Ohio Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #1 Chandler Day

Chandler Day#1 Chandler Day, RHP, Watkins Memorial, 2015 (Vanderbilt)
Scouting Report: At 6-foot-3, 160-pounds, Dayis a lanky righty with top-line stuff. He throws through a 3/4 to high-3/4 slot with a quick arm and a fastball up to 93. He shows some arm-side run and uses a hard slider with late break at 80-82 mph. A Vanderbilt recruit, he also projects as an early-round draft pick.

A Look Ahead: Day, the top ranked prospect in Ohio's 2015 class and 112th overall was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 30th round, 904th overall. Day has since decided to honor his commitment to Vanderbilt and will look to be in the Commodore rotation for the next few years. All of us here at PBR wish Day all the best in his future endeavors.
