Ohio Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #5 Nick Bennett
#5 Nick Bennett, LHP, Moeller, 2016 (Louisville commit)
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect with tall, lanky projectable body. Excellent pitching prospect with loose arm through upper 3/4 slot. Fastball shows late life, sitting 88-90, topping out at 91 mph. Uses slurvy tilt breaking ball with feel at 74-76 mph while also showcasing a changeup at 73-74 with some arm-side run.
Overview: In 2016, the impressive left-handed pitcher topped the state rankings, coming in at the #1 spot and 96th overall for PBR. The Moeller product committed to Louisville and will look to make an impact for the Cardinal this upcoming season.
