Ohio Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #7 Cal Conley

Cal Conley#7 Cal Conley, SS, Loveland, 2018 (Miami (FL) commit)
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 165-pound solid, athletic build. Really shows advance skills in the infield and at the plate for his age. At SS he fields the ball out in front of his body and shows good range. Able to throw from different arm angles with 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. Switch hitter with close to the same swing from both sides. Right-handed he as a quiet approach with a short, compact swing and the barrel staying in the hitting zone. Left-handed he has the same approach with a little more power from this side. Registered top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 6.93

Overview: In 2016, the smooth fielding and talented switch-hitter comes in at the 4th spot in the state prospect rankings and 116th overall for PBR. The Loveland product committed to the Miami Hurricanes a little over a year ago. The future Hurricane has done nothing but impress in 2016 and the future looks bright for the talented switch-hitting prospect. Look for Conley to be one of the top infielders in the state this spring as he looks to help Loveland reach their goals.
