State Championship’s are hard to come by, unless you play in the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC).  In fact, last year Minster finished third in the league spring, but ran through the tournament for a Division IV State Title.

With a target on their backs, Coach Wiss and the Wildcats have the making of another banner season.  The team is highlighted by OSU recruit, Adam Niemeyer (pictured right).

Class of 2013

• P/3B, Adam Niemeyer – The 6 foot 2, 185-pound two-way athlete dominates at the plate and the bump.
• OF, Jay Eilerman – The 6 foot, 160 pound prospect provides speed at the top of the order.
• SS/P, Devon Poppleman – Hit .400 as a junior in the cleanup spot.

Class of 2014

• C/P, Ethan Wolf – The 6 foot 5, 200-pound prospect is a presence on the mound and behind the dish.
• INF/P, Brandon Hoying
