PBR: Why did you choose Davenport ?

Morris: I chose Davenport because they have a very good baseball program, and an excellent accounting program.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Morris: Mount Union

PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?
Morris: The coaches first saw me a week before christmas, my summer coach Gregg Beemer, took myself and a few other teammates up for a visit at Davenport. The coaching staff at Davenport is great, I feel like they are taking their program in the right direction, and am glad that I am going to be apart of it.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Morris: When my number is called, they will expect me to produce, and to do my job.

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help DU?
Morris: My biggest strength would have to be my leadership abilities, hitting, and beind solid behind the plate.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Morris: I play for the 18U Dayton Classics, my most memorable experience would have to be playing on the University of Lousiville field and beating the Cincinnati Flames.

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?
Morris: My goals individually is to be the best that I can. My goals for the team are to win the GWOC.

PBR: What were your stats for this spring season at Wayne ?
Morris: 55 AB, 16 Runs, 28 Hits, 6 2B, 1 HR, 13 RBI, 13 SB and .509 AVG.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio ?
Morris: Nick Bertram (Centerville) and Tom Stoffel (Northmont)
