PBR: Why did you choose Wright State?
Orr: I chose them because it was the right fit for me. I loved the campus, people, and especially the coaching staff
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Orr: I was considering Xavier, Ohio University, and Eastern Kentucky
PBR: Coach Lovelady was name the new Head Coach at Wright State last summer. How does it feel to be a part of his era as the Raiders coach?
Orr: It feels amazing, I loved what he is bringing to Wright state and a truly feel he and his staff develop better than anyone
PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?
Orr: I think my biggest goal individually is to become more fundamentally sound as a baseball player. As a team I want us to be one of the top teams in the state.
PBR: How does it feel to be a part of a Division 1 baseball program?
Orr: The feeling is awesome, my whole life I have dreamed of playing division 1 baseball and knowing that is happening now is the best feeling ever.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Orr: I play for Ohio Elite. I think my most memorable moment would be the first day we all came together and met up and I got to meet awesome people that have the same goals I do.
PBR: What person has the great impact on your baseball career and why?
Orr: Defiantly my father. He has always pushed me to be the best player I could possibly be. He always sacrifices so much by spending all the money and time that he does to support me the best he can.
PBR: What were your stats this spring season at Mount Vernon?
Orr: I batted .522 with 47 hits, scored 41 runs and stole 36 bases on the year
PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?
Orr: I think the toughest pitcher I've faced was Chandler Day. He has great fastball and a solid slider also.
