Griffiths first stood out at Ohio’s 2012 Fall Top Prospect Showcase, where he showed physical projection and a strong arm with carry to his throws. He switch hits and is naturally a righty, but shows more potential from the left side as it is more compact and has a better finish. He makes solid contact from both sides of the plate and has good torque in his lower half.
