Adam Krey, 3B, Washington County (KY), Class of 2014

6-foot-2, 168-pound infield prospect with lanky, athletic frame. Registered a 7.7 60-yard dash. Uses short arm action through ¾ slot. Reaches top velocity of 73 mph across the infield. Transfer and exchange tend to get long. Fields the ball deep. At the plate, the right-handed hitter shows rotational mechanics. Back side has tendency to collapse. Shows opposite field tendencies to his swing as front arm bars. Solid contact with room to grow.

Andrew Lundvall, OF/3B, St. Henry, Class of 2015

6-foot-1, 172-pound outfield prospect. Registered a 7.52 60-yard dash. Uses short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Reached a top velocity of 74 mph. Shows long transfer that needs to quicken. At the plate, shows some balance to his swing. Uses short stride with good use of his lower half. Takes short, level path to the ball.

Bryan Bielak, MIF, North Royalton HS, Class of 2014

5-foot-9, 165-pound middle infield prospect. Lively type smallish build player with good baseball sense. Hard nosed. Good skills. Runs 7.03 60-yard dash with arm strength (77 mph) from all throwing angles. Shows good lower half and hands. Has good hitting stance. Squares barrel on ball with good lower half torque. Needs to improve finish in swing.

Darien Smith, RHP/OF, Northmont HS, Class of 2015

6-foot-4, 175-pound prospect with lanky frame. Registered a 7.73 60-yard dash. Shows long arm action through low ¾ arm slot. Reached a top velocity of 69 mph across the infield. Needs to improve footwork and quickness of transfer and exchange. At the plate, the right-handed hitter uses a short, simple load with a small stride. Tends to wrap his bat in his load, which creates some length to it. On the mound, the lanky righty uses a compact, delivery with little wasted movement. His future is likely on the mound. Shows long, easy arm action with his 77-79 mph fastball. Still can incorporate more lower half and quicker tempo. Changeup sits at 72 mph.

Gabe Surgeon, LHP, Crestwood, Class of 2015

5-foot-9, 165-pound southpaw with short, solid build. Shows average arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball sits 72-75 mph. Curveball sits at 63-64 mph with big, loopy 1/7 break. Shows good depth to it. Changeup sits at 69 mph with some fade.

Hunter Nance, OF, Newark Catholic, HS, Class of 2014

5-foot-9, 160-pound outfield prospect. Undersized, but shows some potential. Displayed 6.9 60-yard speed. From the outfield, he shows quick arm action and a top velocity of 80 mph. His throws had some carry. Could likely play anywhere in the outfield. At the plate, the left-handed hitter is a contact type hitter. Uses wide base. Needs to better incorporate lower half. Overall, interesting prospect that needs to continue to build physical strength.

Joe Vranesic, RHP/3B, Clayton Northmont HS, Class of 2015

6-foot-1, 175-pound potential two-way player with strong athletic frame. Best projects on the hill. Shows some balance in delivery with good arm extensions and lower body torque & finish. Moderate arm speed through upper 3/4 slot. Fastball shows some sink action & heaviness, ranging 83-85 mph. Has some feel of downward tilt curve (69-71 mph) but needs to show more consistency. Has some arm action on change. Runs 7.34 60-yard dash and has some range, feet and hands from corner infield. Solid arm strength. Has wide base as hitter. Quick bat into hit zone (89 mph exit velocity off the tee) with long finish. Has power bat potential.        

Joe Walton, C, Xenia HS, Class of 2014

5-foot-10, 170-pound catching prospect. Registered a 7.68 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, he registered pop times between 2.21-2.35 with a top velocity of 71 mph from the crouch. Shows a quick glove to hand exchange. Needs to continue improve footwork. At the plate, the left-handed hitter uses a small leg kick trigger. Shows some strength in his swing. At times, he gets a little long due to baring the front arm. Shows good use of his lower half.

Josh Rogers, RHP, Bellbrook HS, Class of 2015

6-foot-4, 195-pound righty. Excellent physical projection. Stands tall. Good repeatable delivery with quick arm action through up 3/4 slot. Good arm extension with lower half finish. Easy arm action. Aggressive with fastball, showing some arm side run ranging 83-85 mph. Also possesses good two plane curve with some depth (71-73 mph). Definite follow with size, arm action, and present stuff.

Logan Giddings, 1B/OF/RHP, Pickerington North, Class of 2015

6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic prospect with physical projection. Shows defensive versatility as first baseman and corner outfield guy. Shows good arm strength (82 mph) at both positions. Bat is main key. Potential middle of the order bat from the left side. Uses open stance. Squares front side well with quick bat speed into zone. Gets lower body torque with excellent two hand swing finish. Definite power bat potential. Also shows well on the mound. Fastball sits 80-82 mph with good arm action. Curveball is main out pitch at 70-71 mph. Changeup sits at 74-75 and shows some run to it. Older brother (Cale) plays at Akron. 

Marques Inman, 1B, Elyria HS, Class of 2015

6-foot-1, 187-pound prospect with physical, solid build. Moves well around the bag at first. Showed top velocity of 74 mph on his throws. Best tool is his best. Swings from the right side. Short, compact load. Uses a short stride. Quick hands into the zone (83 mph exit velocity off the tee). Line drive type production with power potential as he grows and matures.

Noah Heard, 1B, Fairfield HS, Class of 2014

6-foot-1, 235-pound first base prospect. Registered a 7.62 60-yard dash. Moves well around the bag, but needs to continue improving footwork. At the plate, the right-handed hitter shows some potential. Uses a short stride with a wide base. Displays quick hands. Ball jumps off his bat with pull power. Needs to work on seeing the ball deep and using the whole field.

Reid Renollet, LHP/OF, Defiance Tinora HS, Class of 2014

6-foot, 175-pound two-way prospect. Registered a 7.53 60-yard dash. In the field, shows good actions. Plays through the baseball with good footwork. Reached a top velocity of 81 mph with some carry to his throws. At the plate, the left-handed hitter shows some balance to his swing. Uses a short stride with quick hands into the zone. Line drive type hitter that should continue to get better with strength and maturation. On them mound, he uses above average arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Delivery doesn’t require much effort. Fastball sits 77-80 mph with some cut. Curveball sits at 71 mph with 1/7 break. Changeup is thrown near fastball arm action at 69-71 mph with some fade. Three pitch guy with projectable arm. Interesting following heading into next spring if his velocity jumps.

Ryan Wahler, IF/C, Sycamore HS, Class of 2015

6-foot-1, 150-pound prospect. Registered a 7.31 60-yard dash. In the field, he shows long arm action through a low ¾ to 3/4 arm slot. Reached a top velocity of 70 mph. Behind the plate, he showed pop times between 2.23 to 2.35. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance. Uses a leg kick trigger, which affects his timing. Shows partial use of his lower half. Consistent opposite field tendencies and production.

Skyler Kelly, SS, Carlisle HS, Class of 2014

5-foot-11, 160-pound middle infield prospect. Registered a 7.22 60-yard dash. Uses long arm action through low ¾ slot. Shows some strength to throws but needs to improve accuracy. Average hands and glove work. At the plate, he starts with a low hand trigger. Contact type hitter. Needs to simplify load to help with consistency.

Spencer Howell, 2B, Oakwood HS, Class of 2015

5-foot-6, 130-pound infielder. Registered a 8.4 60-yard dash. Shows average footwork in the field. Arm strength measures at 62 mph across the infield. At the plate, he uses a short, smooth load. Contact type hitter with decent use of his lower half. Needs to get physically stronger to aid all areas of his game.

Tim Hoppe, C, Clyde HS, Class of 2014

5-foot-11, 160-pound catching prospect. Solid, athletic build. Pop times sat between 2.22-2.27 behind the plate (we have seen him 2.00-2.10). Reached a top velocity of 71 mph from the crouch. Little wasted movement. Throws from over the top slot and downhill. At the plate, the right-handed hitter triggers his hands from his shoulder. Quick load. Needs to incorporate more lower-half and maximize torque. Will reach his potential when he starts to use his whole body

Tyler Bookmyer, IF/RHP, Dublin Jerome HS, Class of 2014

5-foot-8, 150-pound infield prospect. Registered a 7.41 60-yard dash. Projects as a second baseman at the next level. Uses short arm action with a top velocity of 73 mph across the infield. Not exceptionally quick, but takes good routes to the ball. Shows quick transfer. At the plate, he shows good balance to his swing. Displays quick hands and good bat speed. Takes a short path to the ball. Uses the whole field well. On the mound, he throws from a low ¾ to ¾ arm slot. Uses a smooth rhythm. Velocity sits 75-77 mph. Curveball is 61-62 mph with loopy 11/5 break. Changeup sits at 63 mph with some fade.

Tyler Johnson, RHP, Olentangy Orange HS, Class of 2015

6-foot, 160-pound right-handed pitching prospect with thin, lanky frame. Uses quick tempo to delivery. Throws from a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot with quick arm action. Fastball sits 84-87 with good arm side run. Can be erratic at times. Delivery requires some effort. Curveball sits 68-69 mph with good 11/5 break. Tends to show it by cuffing in his back arm action. Also uses a 71 mph slider with more one plane movement. Definite follow in 2015 class.

Tyler Thompson, RHP/3B, Paint Valley HS, Class of 2014

6-foot, 175-pound prospect. Registered 7.74 60-yard dash. Uses short arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Reached top velocity of 74 mph. Needs to improve footwork in the infield. At the plate, his hands start away from his body. Creates some length to his swing. Uses a small leg kick trigger, which affects his balance. Needs to better incorporate his lower half. On the mound, the righty requires some effort to his delivery. Fastball sits 77-78 mph. Curveball is big and loopy at 60-61 mph.

Zachary Kendall, RHP, Troy HS, Class of 2014

6-foot-1, 140-pound right-handed pitcher. Tall, slender body. Downward plane with moderate arm speed through upper 3/4 arm slot. Delivery extension is good but needs more balance in finish as he occasionally falls off in follow through. Also needs to enhance lower body torque to improve velocity. Fastball sits 80-83 mph with some late life. Has some feel for slurvy type tilt breaking ball ranging 67-72 mph. Should improve numbers when he acquires more physical strength.

Zane Collins, LHP/OF, Ben Logan HS, Class of 2015 

5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect. Projects well at the next level on the mound. Has some physical projection with moderate arm speed through 3/4 arm slot. Cross body delivery with some deception in middle point of delivery. Gets good arm extensions and lower half torque with finish. Shows some occasional sink action on 82-84 fastball along with good off speed. Curve shows downward tilt with some depth (69-71 mph) and good arm action on change (74 mph). Registered a 7.59 60-yard dash. In the field, shows decent actions with 77 mph velocity from the outfield. Throws have some carry. Contact type hitter from the left side with good bat speed (80 mph exit velocity off the tee).
