The Hotlist: Top Uncommitted 2019s

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

An update to the 2019 Overall Rankings was released this morning with a new No. 1, as Texas was added to the fold. By reading the release, you can see the pace at which the recruiting world works with just four of the top 50 prospects being uncommitted. For this week’s Hotlist, we look at the top uncommitted 2019 from each state in Prep Baseball Report’s coverage area. That’s not to say these guys are behind. There is plenty of time left in the process. These are just some names to keep an eye on as time moves forward.

Zach Agnos, SS, Battlefield HS, VA
Agnos is an athletic defender with a strong arm. He has fluid footwork and good actions go with a clean exchange. At the plate, he hits from an open, athletic stance and has a leg kick stride and smooth load. His lower half is explosive and he maintains balance throughout his swing. He has good bat speed and a short, fluid swing that generates line drives. He has also flashed two-way potential by hitting the high 80s on the mound. He is No. 139 in the updated rankings.
