The Hotlist: Uncommitted 2018 Outfielders

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff
For college programs, recruiting is never done and moves at a breakneck pace. While many of the top juniors in the country have made verbal commitments, there is still plenty of talent still out there. At the same time, it’s not a bad thing to be uncommitted as an underclassman. We’ve recently looked at the top available pitchers, catchers and infielders. Lastly, we have outfielders with the potential of contributing at the next level.

Brock Anderson, OF, Alexandria HS, MN
Anderson has a physical mature build and strong lower half at 6 feet, 190 pounds. He runs a 7.23-second 60 and throws 88 mph from the outfield. Offensively, he has good balance in the box with rhythm in his hands and a clean, line-drive path to contact. He’s occasionally short on his finish and works the middle of the field. On defense, he uses good footwork and creates good angles with direction toward his target. He throws with a clean arm action from an over-the-top slot.
