The Hotlist: Uncommitted Senior Pitchers

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The spring season is approaching and there are still plenty of talented seniors left on the recruiting market. Listed alphabetically below are available pitchers with the ability to pitch at the next level.

Trayce Abbot, LHP, McLoud HS, OK
Abbot has a strong frame at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. He works with an average tempo and high leg kick, coming through a high-3/4 slot with a long arm stroke. His fastball has arm-side run at 83-86 mph and he mixes in a curveball with 2/8 shape at 64-66.

Bryan Albee, RHP, Killingly HS, CT
Albee has a thin, long and athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 150 pounds with room for physical development. He has a simple delivery with a high leg kick, good flexibility and loose actions. The arm works out of a high-3/4 slot and is short and clean. He locates his fastball to both sides of the plate, which sits 80-82 with more to come. The breaking ball is his best pitch, showing close to 12/6 shape at 65-71. The changeup remains a work-in-progress. He competes well and shows athleticism off the mound.
