The Ohio Big Board: The Top Six Uncommitted 2015 Right-Handed Projectable Arms

There are 36 uncommitted right-handed pitchers ranked in the top 250 of the 2015 class for the Buckeye state. There are 43 right-handers that are off the board and headed to some quality programs within the ACC, Big Ten, SEC, MAC, Horizon, and GLIAC along with other conferences. Below we take a look at six of the top projectable arms available in Ohio's 2015 class.

Top Six Uncommitted 2015 Right-Handed Projectable Arms


Josh Rogers, RHP, Bellbrook, 2015

Ranking: 84th in Ohio’s 2015 class
Scouting Report: 6-foot-5, 210-pounds big strong body.  On the mound he is very projectable. He throws from a high ¾ slot with his fastball sitting 83-86 mph. His breaking ball has some late 11/5 break sitting 75-77 mph. He has a tendency to hold on to his change to long throwing it at 76-77 mph. Also plays third base and showcases soft hands and a clean exchange while producing an 89 mph exit velocity at the plate. Top Prospect and Unsigned Senior Games participant. Ranked 84th in Ohio’s 2015 class.
