The Buckeye State is filled with high-level baseball prospects throughout each corner of the state. The 2018 class has commitments all across the United States, from Vanderbilt to Miami to Kentucky to Missouri to Nebraska and many more colleges across the U.S. When looking at the 2018 rankings, you will see plenty of Ohio colleges littered throughout all of the commitments as well.

WAPAKONETA - With a 31 ACT score and a 3.8 GPA, college is a certainty for Joel Roediger. If it includes baseball is yet to be decided.

The Wapakoneta senior pitcher has visited a wide variety of schools with both baseball and a business degree under consideration.

“I’m looking for a good business degree and a baseball program doing well,” Roediger said of the perfect scenario. “Accreditation, job placement and being highly-sought after by an employer are important in a school. I’m not looking at one that will take my money and kick me out the door when I’m done.
