Uncommitted Spotlight: Competitive Nature Sparks Geraci

CLEVELAND - Talent is not the only thing that can help Matthew Geraci reach the next level in baseball.

“I’m one of the most competitive kids you will find,” the St. Ignatius junior said. “I have the stuff to pitch at the college level but it’s not about that. I have a competitive drive and want to get better than my peers.”

Wright State, Dayton, Kent State and Ohio U have shown some interest in the right-handed pitcher.

“They like that I have good command of all three pitches,” Geraci noted. “I have good velocity on my fastball, I’m athletic and projectable enough.”
